Erected to the memory of James Stewart Lamond, Jr. by his widow Margaret Gavin and his two sons in memory of a loving and father and by his friends in West Lothian where for many years he was the trusted leader and wise counsellor of the labour movement. The above Margaret Gavin died 14th May 1965, aged 82 years. Their daughter-in-law Margaret Miller died 14th May 1956, aged 46 years. Father, in thy gracious keeping, leave we now our loved one sleeping.
