A pleasing little action took place this morning when Colonel H. E. Hart (President) and Mr F. C. Norris (secretary) of the South African War Veterans Association, on behalf of the Association. presented Mr J. D. Goodall with a war veteran's badge. Mr Goodall, who is a member of the Association, has now lost the use of his leg, but still helps to make provision for himself by selling cigarettes, etc., from a stand near the Post Office.
