STRADIOTTI Sister Tarsicius (Mary) C.S.J.In the 79th year of her

religious life, Sister Tarsicius died peacefully at St. Joseph's

Motherhouse on Bayview Avenue in Toronto, Ontario on Thursday, March

26, 2009. She is predeceased by her parents Gino Stradiotti and

Carolina Longhi, her sister Ellen Fiorillo and brothers Napoleon,

Richard, Aldo and Henry. She will be dearly missed by her

sister-in-law Anne Stradiotti and many nieces and nephews. Sister

Tarsicius entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto in 1929 and

served in the ministry of education for forty years. After retiring

from teaching, Sister served in Guatemala for two years. On her return

to Canada, she served in a variety of ministries in the congregation.

Her wake was held at St. Joseph's Convent, 3377 Bayview Avenue on

Sunday, March 29. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday,

March 30 at St. Joseph's Convent. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
