Christmas time

Every year at Christmas time I (Todd Oveson, Great Grandson) remember that we would get Mom and Dads Christmas tree and we would also get one for Great Grandma and set it up in a pail of sand and decorate the tree for them. A few days later, all the families on the Davis side would get together and have the biggest and most memorable parties ever. We always had plenty of food and would squeeze together for the entertainment before having Santa Clause come with gifts for everyone. Great Grandma would always meet you at the door with a hug and a smile. I remember that she always had a jar of those pink mint candies and toys for us to play with in the small cabinet by her chair to watch us. Memories from 1964 to 1972
