Memories

Testimony witness of My Dad's last hours on Earth. By Debra Kay Fields Welcome

08/21/2022
A year ago at this time, January 12, 2017, I was sitting by Dad's bedside as he lay ready to pass across the veil of death. I remember feeling so helpless. I knew it was his time to go and that he would be so happy when he was free of all the pain and weariness of this life. I kept telling him as he struggled to speak that it was O.K., I wanted him know I understood and that he should not feel bad about leaving. I will never forget how much he struggled with that! I wish I would have videoed the “conversations” he had with unseen beings, "I" could not see nor hear, but they were VERY clear to him. He would turn to them, moving his mouth and sometimes nodding. They were standing to the right of his bedside, which in our world was a wall. Then he would turn to me and try desperately to convey to me what he wanted me to know. He tried to make the words really big, so I could understand, but the sound would not come out. (I know now that this was because his lungs were filled with water.) This went on through the night and morning. My Dad did not want to leave his family, but was finally "persuaded to," as I had stepped into the bathroom, not 6 ft away, for no more than a minute. I saw immediately that he had left this world. His whole body, even his face and mouth were turned toward the right- where he had been conversing with his, "escorts." He rolled to the right and his spirit left his body there on the bed and went right through that wall into that unseen dimension of the Spirit World. I bear witness to my family that this happened just as I state. I know that when we die- our spirits live on. I am terribly sad today, still feeling the great loss of my Father, my friend, but I know that he did not cease to exist that day. I know that he will be resurrected and that we will be together again. By Debra Kay Fields Welcome 12 January 2o18
