Monument - In affectionate memory of INKERMAN BROWN aged 45 years, a native of this parish and master of the Steamship "Antrim" of Belfast, who was lost at sea with his steamer and her entire crew while on passage from Newport Mon to Belfast on the 22nd April 1902. Erected as a mark of respect by the Directors, Officers and Agents of the Antrim Iron Ore Co Limited in whose service Captain Brown has been for almost 20 years. "He shall sleep but not for ever. There will be a glorious dawn. We shall meet to part - no never on the Resurrection morn. Maggie Brown"
