The following obituary is for Robert Eugene Bolin and is included to provide other family names for Fred Bolin--- Robert Eugene Bolin Obituary Condolences Robert Eugene Bolin Funeral services for Robert Eugene Bolin, 47, of Kirkland, Ill., will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at Wait Ross Allanson Elgin Funeral Chapel, 51 Center St., Elgin. The Rev. Thomas Niermann of St. John's Lutheran Church will officiate. Born March 18, 1955, in Sikeston, Mo., the son of Thomas and Emma Allene (nee Vincent) Bolin, he died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002, at his home. Interment will be in Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin. Mr. Bolin was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin, Teamster Local #330 in Elgin and Carpenter's Local #790 of Rockford. He was a supervisor with R & D Thiel, a manufacturer of carpenter components in Belvidere, Ill. Robert leaves his wife, Dena (nee Schmidt), whom he married Jan. 10, 1986; children, Josh, Clint, and Jamie Bolin, all of Kirkland; father and stepmother, Thomas and Mable Bolin; brother, Calvin (Bonnie) of St. Charles; sisters, Janie (Everett) Taylor of Sikeston, Mo., Barbara (Don) McDonald of Gulfport, Miss., Yvonne (Greg) Carson of Flagstaff, Ariz., Tina (Jim) Kirkman of Bernie, Mo., and Margaret (Jerry) Simpson of Bernie; stepsisters, Debrah Norman of Dexter, Mo., and Sheila Reynods of Flippin, Ark.;and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Lee; sister-in-law, Evelyn Bolin; and brother-in-law, Herman Brashear. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Memorials in Robert's name may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Elgin.
