Erected by Esther in loving memory of her father Rowland Simpson died at Stranocum 11th Sept 1873 aged 83 years. Rachel his wife died 5th May 1824 aged 32 years. His daughter Ann ded 22nd March 1845 aged 22 years. Esther, died 10th Dec 1893, aged 76 years.
