Born March 9, 1917, Beaver, to Uriel A. and Della Hutchings Paxton. Married Ella Rasmussen, Beaver, Oct. 4, 1938. Veteran World War II. Carpenter Member Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors: widow, sons, daughters. Gail, Grand Canyon, Ariz.: Paul. U.S. Army, Fort Sill Okla.: Sherry, Linda, Glenys, Duane, all Provo; parents, Fillmore; brothers, sisters, Garn Paxton, Long Beach, Calif.; Jerry, Mrs. Margaret Warner, both Salt Lake City. Funeral Saturday 1 pm, Fillmore First LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Relief Society room Saturday prior. Burial, Fillmore City Cemetery. Published in Salt Lake Tribune 4 Nov 1960.
