Plot EJA, Row 13, Plan V :: Widow of George Kirk Allis (1859-1905) .. 20 Dec 1937 .. The many friends of Mrs Eliza Jane Allis will regret to learn of her death which occurred at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs James Hadden Handyside, Te Ore Ore Rd, this morning after a brief illness. The deceased was born in Lincolshire, England 76 years ago. She came to New Zealand with her husband and 3 children forty years ago. She took up her residence in Napier after her arrival and remained there for 20 years, subsequently coming to Masterton where she has resided for the past fourteen years. Her husband predeceased her thirty years ago. ::
OF NOTE .. Eliza died the same day & same age as Thomas Wagg (1861-1937) of Wagg's Motors / Garage
