Erected by the Woodmen of the World In Memory of Sov. Edward J. Connolly, of Excelsior Camp No. 173, Toronto Junction. Died Dec. 17th 1902. In his 23rd year.

Description

The term Sov. means sovereign which was a courtesy title all Woodmen members have. If you are a Woodmen member you are a sovereign. It was used quite a bit the first half of this century but is rarely used today.
