Underneath this stone are intered the remains of David McKillop, Esq.
late of Glenarm who died on the 9th of July, 1805, aged 77 years. The
greater period of his life was devoted to the service of his country in
the navy, and having retired from that profession he became an active
magistrate for the county of Antrim. He died as he had lived, respected.
