Erected to the memory of John McCay late of Mosside who departed this life on the 4th of Novr 1842 aged 70 years. As a landlord he was considerate and indulgent, as a friend, true and faithful. As a father tender and affectionate as a husband loving and attached as a Christian he exercised the firmest faith in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and died in the blessed hope of a glorious resurrection.

Sacred to the memory of the Rev Hugh McCay who departed this life 1st Sept 1843 aged 27 years. He was one year and a half the Presbyterian Minister of Ballysillan by his people he was ardently beloved for his fervent piety his zealous and indefatigable labours of love his brilliant talents his ever powering eloquence and his happy and diversified and beautifully figurative expositions of Christianity though never perhaps for the loss of a Gospel Minister was there such a universal and heartfelt outburst of grief by a bereaved Congregation as upon his unexpected removal to enjoy the reward on his labours in the upper sanctuary.

To the memory of Daniel third son of John McKay, Esq., Mosside he departed this life on the 15th day of Jany 1855 aged 52 years. He was gentle and unobtrusive tender and affectionate as a son and brother upright and conciliatory in public life and his latter end was peace.
