Adopted daughter of Hugh Taylor (1878-1918) & Louisa (1882-1957) Langford. She married Hugh Marchant Bodle (1911-1986) in 1933

The many friends of Mr H. M. Bodle, of the Para Rubber Co., will learn with deep regret of the death of his wife, which occurred suddenly at Masterton yesterday. The late Mrs Bodle was born in Wellington 19 years ago , but had resided in Masterton for the past 14 years. Formerly Miss Chrystal Langford, she was for some time a member of the staff of Messrs Hugo and Shearer. She was very well liked and respected by her fellow employees who will unite n expressing deepest sympathy to the bereaved husband and relatives. The funeral will take place to-morrow, leaving the residence, 69 Church Street, at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
Hugh next married Violet Edna Falkner (1914-2004) in 1935
