Laron Donald Bright: Memories by son, Robert Laron Bright

[He] was a very hard worker. From my youth, I remember he had two jobs in order to allow my mother to be at home with the kids. This lifestyle ended when he was called into bishopbrics that took most of his evenings. He was the first bishop of the Layton 13th Ward. His ward members loved him dearly. Dad worked as an electrician on the missile guidance system. He spent months away from home on TDY. Dad was an avid deer hunter and I spent some of my most memorable times with him in the Hills of Kamas. Dad was a jovial, friendly man and was loved by all.

Mom was my principle parent figure with my father being out of the home. She was my biggest fan and advocate. Mom was a stay-at-home mom. I remember staying with my mother, putting hot-packs on her head for the migraines she was plagued with. Mom was a very active, faithful member of the Church. She served as Primary president and Relief Society president. Primary was her favorite place and she brought joy to many children. Mom loved to camp with the family in the trailer club that we belonged to. It was called the Lost Ten Trailer Club. Mom was a loving wife to three good men. She loved her children and grandkids unconditionally.
