Angus Macphail

Erected by Angus Macphail, Writer Glasgow. In memory of his beloved wife Agnes Forbes Carmichael, who died at Crossmyloof, 30th November 1914, aged 44 years and his beloved wife Phoebe MacDonald who died at Pollpkshields, 4th December 1923 aged 58 years. The above Angus Macphail died 6th May 1940, aged 73 years. Peace Perfect Peace.

Also his sister Mary Anne Macphail, elder daughter of Captain Angus Macphail, Crinan Harbour, who died at Strone Argyll, 8th November 1961 in her 91st year.

And his sister Catherine Masphail, youngest child of Captain Angus Macphail, Crinan Harbour, who died 24th May 1971 on the Queens Birthday in her 91st year.
