Description

He worked as a liftman, (Elevator Operator).

Albon Gaudin had been living with his wife Elsie May Gaudin and their young child at Mt Pleasant Road, Mt. Eden. At the inquest Elsie May described an unhappy marriage that lead to her leaving her husband and going to live with her mother. November 14th was a Saturday afternoon and Elsie had returned to the house with the baby to collect some clothes. An incident that followed sent Elsie May screaming from the house with several bullet wounds. The police were called and found Albon Gaudin dead, inside the house, apparently by his own hand.
