Васи́лий Никола́евич Па́рин (1877, с. Симон Малмыжского уезда Вятской губернии — 1947, Пермь) — советский учёный-медик, доктор медицинских наук, один из создателей Пермского медицинского института. Один из организаторов и замдиректора по научно-учебной работе (1933—1935) Ижевского медицинского института. В годы Великой Отечественной войны — главный хирург эвакогоспиталей Пермской области. Отец физиолога, академика АН СССР В. В. Парина и хирурга, травматолога, заслуженного деятеля науки РСФСР Б. В. Парина, сват Д. М. Марко.

They made the first controlled, sustained flight of a powered, heavier-than-air aircraft on December 17, 1903, four miles south of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. In 1904–05 the brothers developed their flying machine into the first practical fixed-wing aircraft. Although not the first to build experimental aircraft, the Wright brothers were the first to invent aircraft controls that made fixed-wing powered flight possible.
