Removed Cemetery. Yarram New Cemetery is on Donohue`s Hill and was purchased by the Yarram Council in March 1902. The first burial was that of Alfred Ormond Hagenaur, the infant son of the Presbyterian Minister. Seventy-six graves were relocated from the old Yarram Pioneer Cemetery, and in August 1911, an act of Parliament allowed the old cemetery to be converted to park and "pleasure grounds" (now called Yarram Park and Memorial Gardens).
