Wamego City Cemetery\n\nOccupying a hill in a quiet corner of the community, the Wamego City Cemetery has paid tribute to former residents of our area almost since the founding of Wamego. The attractively landscaped 21-acre cemetery at Walnut and Eighth Street is one of the nicest in our region, especially when decked out for Memorial Day. \n\nIndividual or multiple interment spaces may be purchased at the Wamego City Office at $125 per space. Cremains are accepted, however the City does not have a designated cremains section.
