This is an old Native American cemetery that is more than 100 years old. It is reported names after the Victory Family (Cherokee Indians) lived in the area. At the present time, the cemetery is very well maintained. When a survey of the cemetery was done in May 2002 by Charlotte Keen, the condition of the cemetery was poor. The Cherokee Nation was marked most of the numerous unknown and partially destroyed tombstone with a red brick. As of September 5,2015, I took a picture of every tombstone and later transcribed them. 97 of the 156 pictures are of red bricks. It does not appear that burials are still taking place here.
