This cemetery is on private property. It was established in 1795 by the original owners of the farm - the Swearingen family. Through the years they sold off portions of the acreage until finally all of it was sold. The cemetery remains although the current owner put the previously standing stones on the ground. There is a state historical marker near the graveyard but it is difficult to see from the road.
