St Stephen's Anglican Cemetery lies alongside the Mount View Cemetery on State Highway 1, Marton. It was separated by a fence but this has now been removed. The cemetery is on a hill slope and sadly is neglected, headstones have toppled. others are missing (possibly buried under vegetation) and there are quite a number of unmarked graves. There is no sign to show where the cemetery stands. If you cannot find who you are looking for here, check Mount View Cemetery as the GPS may have placed them in the wrong cemetery. Records are held by the Anglican Church in Marton, but my request to see them to help identify unmarked graves, was denied !!
