St Johns Church, Bathwick

The original parish church for Bathwick was St Mary’s which was pulled down in 1818 when Bathwick Street was extended, the new St Mary’s in Darlington Street opening in 1820. Later St John’s Church was built, opening in 1861 and then extended in 1871. Its churchyard contains the remnants of the original Bathwick graveyard.
