This is an old, unkempt cemetery. It is off the road about 25 feet and about 6 feet above the road level, making it hard to see from the road. The woman whose property adjoins the cemetery said no one claims responsibility for it. During the tornado's of April 23, 2012, several large limbs fell into the cemetery, knocking over a few headstones and generally creating a mess. She thought it might have been originally located down closer to the Tennessee River prior to the area behind Chickamaunga dam being flooded, however, she stressed that was the story but no proof has ever been offered.
