Pimpama Cemetery is located on 4.4 hectares. The land was set aside in 1872 and is controlled and operated by the City of Gold Coast as trustee. This cemetery is well known for the war memorial monument erected within its precinct. There are a number of unmarked graves, some old and others more recent. Several graves are marked with wooden crosses with limited or no legible information. There are at least two very old rusted metal markers where the inscription no longer exists.
