The Nolte Family Cemetery (Meredith tax map coordinates S25-29) is located on Waukewan Street* in Meredith. This cemetery is 28' x 36' in size and is enclosed by granite, fieldstone walls in good condition. The Nolte cemetery is an old burial ground and may have been used by the Prescott family. Possibly, some of the gravestones and burials within this cemetery were disinterred and moved to another cemetery. Presently, this cemetery contains one gravestone with the following 2 names inscribed on it. Elsie Geb Kracht, 1902-1963 and Christian Nolte, 1901-1977.
