\nThe original church was established in 1876 and burn around 1903 and grave yard abanoned. New Hope Church was rebuilt and a new graveyard was established at its current location, which northwesternly direction from the original site and about 1/4 mile off of Hwy 114.\n\nSouth from Rison on HWY 35 to Hwy 114 east to Sec 13, T 9, R 10 and west of Calmer.\n\nNew Hope Original Cemetery was located about half way between Toledo and Calmer on Hwy 114 and located southeastly direction from the current New Hope Cemetery. None of the grave stones are still standing it over grown woods, you can only enter the area by a 4-wheeler. New Hope was orginally established in 1876 by members of the New Hope Church as a private burial known as New Hope Cemetery. The Orginal church burned and cemetery was destroyed about 1910.\n\nA new church and cemetery was established about a mile north of the orginal churcha and cemetery and was closer to Hwy 114.\n\nSEC 13, T9, R10
