Description

This cemetery was originally part of Indian Mound, being the lower plat it was reserved for the burials of African Americans. It separated from Indian Mound and became known as Mount Pisgah Benevolence Cemetery, which is currently maintained by the Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church. Pic #1 is the Cemetery sign. Pic 2-4 shows the surroundings. Rt. 50 shows in 3 & 4. The white wooden crosses are grave markers with no names. Pics 5 & 6 are the same 6 is just zoomed in more. If you look at the skyline, you can see grave markers from Indian Mound. Pic 7 is behind the cemetery looking towards Rt. 50.
