Mount Gilead Methodist Church Cemetery is located on the north side of Arnold Mill Road in Woodstock, Cherokee County, Georgia adjacent to the church building and parking lot. It is visible from the road. The Church began services in 1843 and still has services today. In the early days of Cherokee County it was also used as a school location for local children. The entire cemetery was mapped, indexed and photographed in connection with the Eagle Scout Project of Adam Jesser Glisson, with Boy Scout Troop 625, Woodstock, Georgia, in December 2017. The results are shared here with BillionGraves.com and an original has been provided to the Mount Gilead United Methodist Church for their records. There are many graves unmarked nor was information available from the church for those graves.
