Inside, the church was painted in rich colors, equipped with a triumphal arch and the south wall was covered with paintings. But the church was too small so in 1822 it was decided to extend it because the population was 1310 and the church only held 300. Church was expanded and in 1861 built the church tower. Previously there was only a belfry. \n\nLoshult became its own parish May 1, 1866.\n\nIn the church should be noted pulpit placed above the altar (both from 1592). There are only a few churches in the country that the pulpit is placed in this way. On the pulpit, the four Evangelists avmålade. Above the altar is Jesus and Moses depicted. Below the pulpit sees Jesus instituting the Eucharist on a painting by Per Hörberg. on the side walls are two large paintings by the same artist. These represent the death of Jesus on the cross and resurrection of Jesus from death and the grave. \n\nThe church has an older red chasuble from 1785 that is still used today, at Pentecost and Boxing Day. A very unusual chasuble in brown color from 1693 has been in the church\'s possession but is available today in Kristianstad Regional Museum. \n\nUnder the current altar is an ancient altar in granite that probably descended from the earliest church. It was found that during the restoration of 1951-52 when they also encountered many graves under the floor.
