Description

Historic pioneer cemetery in Ruch, Oregon. Four acres with the first recorded burial in 1862. The cemetery is owned and operated by the Logtown Cemetery Association, a domestic non-profit mutually beneficial corporation formed in 1939.The land was donated by Mr. Paul Pearce and Mrs. Mildred Pearce, and Mr. Walter Bell and Mrs. Edith Bell. Th Logtown Cemetery is known for the Logtown Rose, brought by the pioneers and survived for 150 years.
