On the Biltmore property west of the French Broad River. Burial grounds can only be reached while escorted by a member of Biltmore's Archival and Conservancy Dept. It is off a dirt road about a quarter mile hike into the woods. There are probably 15-20 graves, some marked with stones. Some of the stones have markings with a few stones inscribed with the date of 1832 when a cholera epidemic went through the family and several children died. There is a single marker provided by family members detailing Jessie Israel and Mary Jones' (Joshua Jones' daughter) children and their spouses with associated dates. The Joshua Jones Burial Ground is about 1.5 miles northwest of this location.
