Also known as African Methodist Episcapol Church Cemetery. Gomez Cemetery on Kingsley Street, Hobe Sound, is an older cemetery which served the African American community of Gomez, now part of Hobe Sound, up until around the 1980's. Currently it is not being used for burials, but major efforts are underway to renovate the neglected cemetery, identify gravestones, locate missing gravestones, and generally renew the cemetery.
