Western Necropolis

Western Necropolis in Glasgow contains 355 First World War burials, many of them grouped together. The 124 Second World War burials are scattered throughout the cemetery, although there are several among the earlier war graves group. Also in this group are two German war graves. A Crematorium stands within the grounds and a Garden of Remembrance commemorates many, and additionally one serviceman of the First World War and 72 of the Second World War whose remains were cremated there.
