With the permission of the surrounding landowners, three of us search for any evidence of a cemetery. Neither in the yards nor the strip of land between the homes and the creek, we found nothing to indicate graves or grave markers. There was only one solitary open area in the strip of land and I took a picture of it and labeled it Questionable Unknown. We also polled the neighborhood and no one could direct us to graves in the immediate area. However Wagoner County records do reflect such a cemetery with about 50 burials. FindAGrave reflects the cemetery and some of same burials as the county records but no location description and the one location photograph is of the exact homes that we park in front and search the surrounding area. I will continue to research.
