Description

A church on the site of St. Dunstan's was first established many centuries ago, when that was the heart of the village of Feltham, as mentioned in the Doomsday book. The present Church was opened in 1802. When the railway came to Feltham in Victorian times, the centre of the community moved to where it is now, around the station. The Church of St. Catherine's was built to serve the expanding town, but was closed in 1975, and only the tower and spire now remain. That building may have gone, but the Christian community it supported is still alive and worshipping at St. Dunstan's.
