The Alfriston Cemetery is located in southern Auckland and situated behind Christ Church. The church is part of the Anglican Parish of Clevedon. There is cemetery parking onsite and cemetery access is through a lichgate beside the church. The cemetery is fully grassed and slopes towards the church. All Souls Anglican Church, Clevedon (Parish headquarters), hold a burial register for the cemetery. The cemetery has several military and numerous local identities buried there. There are a number of old gum digger burials that are not marked and there are no details for them. The first recorded burial was in 1878 (George Angus Bodle). In April 2021 the cemetery was still in use for body and ash burials.
