There is a paved path leading up to the burial site with a fence around the grave locations. A marker placed there in 2008 reads in part: "In 1863, a short distance from here, seven passengers on the Overland Stage were murdered during a robbery. The victims were buried on this hill. James Thompson, a station guard, placed the blame for the crime on the infamous outlaw, Jack Slade." I have uploaded images of the graves. There are no tombstones identifying the individuals.
