Dora J Tharp (Fosmer) was born on 10 Dec 1853
Dora J Tharp (Fosmer) was 15 years old when Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton founded the National Woman Suffrage Association, breaking away from the American Equal Rights Association which they had also previously founded. Susan B. Anthony was an American social reformer and women's rights activist who played a pivotal role in the women's suffrage movement. Born into a Quaker family committed to social equality, she collected anti-slavery petitions at the age of 17. In 1856, she became the New York state agent for the American Anti-Slavery Society.
Dora J Tharp (Fosmer) died on 28 May 1878 at the age of 24
